High country, Brute force

I purchased my 1st bow, a used High country Brute force, it felt good and I can shoot it well, lots of practice, but two different people had told me that the high country split limbs have a tendancey to break. Does anyone have any info on this? I would hate to "feel" it break at full draw.

so much crap, they have a life time warr. to org. owner. i've sold and serviced high country for 14 yr's and hunt with a carbon pro lite. the brute force is a good one, just take care of it and it will serve you well. good luck jim
