I was thinking of getting a new bow next year, but after reading about some of the problems people are having with this years bows (all from big name companies) i'm thinking i'll stick with what i have

Mathews has gone downhill since the Legacy. They've gotten noisy.


Those Merlin bows are beautiful. I don't think I'd want to take the chance of knicking it out in the woods, though.

if you go to merlins website you can see the full camo 1. it looks awesome. i wonder how much they'll cost.

I believe Pinwheel posted over at AT that the XT was around $839 and the XS was $869. (Might have those prices wrong or backwards. :)) Those are MSRP prices though. I imagine the retail pricing will be around that of Bowtech and Mathews.

The camo you see will be the camo that is on all of the bows in 2006. We may have a full camo limb model later, but the riser will be matte brown anodize with the camo inserts as standard on both the XT and XS.

MSRP on the XT is $899, and on the XS is $839 for the camo versions, and $30 more for target. Individual dealer pricing will vary of course.

The new Merlin website will be up and running sometime next week and you'll be able to view everything and find your closest dealership.

Lol, I was way off on those prices. Guess I need to better check my references next time. ;)
