Sighting in Help

I have my bow sighted in at 10 yards. At this distance I am dead on. Is there any shortcuts for setting in the 20 and 30 yard pins?

just have your next pin down a little bit from your 10 yard one and move back to 20 yards and shoot it.

Yes, move the sight pin down about 1/16" and shoot your first pin for 20 yards. Then go back to 10 yards and see where your arrow hits. If you have anything close to a modern bow you should only hit about 1" high at 10 yards with a 20 yard pin. Therefore you can eliminate one pin from the cluster. After that you can try a 30 yard pin. For most of us it's kinda trial and error, but as you get more experienced you'll learn ABOUT how far below the 20 yard pin to place a 30 yarder for starters. I'd say roughly 3/16" depending on bow speed, how far the sight is from the riser, etc.

If it is of anyhelp, I am using a 40# Ben Pearson recurve. The arrows are Carbon Force Radical X Weave 300's. I will try with the pin 1/16' down and see what that gets me. Will let yall know.
