speed demon

What kind of speeds do any of you BOWTECH shooters get. I was getting 320 fps out of my Patriot but shortened the draw a little and now im getting 307fps and its a little more consistant im sure that was me . Thats why I opted to shorten the draw a bit for comfort. Mine is the fastest at the range I shoot at. There are two guys with identicle bows and arrow set ups as mine and they are shooting in the 290'swe cant fifure it out.We have even went so far as to shoot my arrows in their bow with me shooting . poundage is same 74lbs on each. This is not realy a problem just amystery and the guys think i have done somthing to my bow to supercharge it. lol. Maybe I will tell them I use bear grease on my cam and wheel.

This is one of the reasons that Bowtech typically posts a range of speed ratings for any given bow as opposed to just one flat speed. Productions tolerances vary some I am sure. Your bow may be faster because of the limbs, string construction, etc... It could be a variety of issues.

My Old Glory....at 60 pounds and a 31 inch draw with a 370 grain arrow was pushing 286 fps when I chronoed it last spring. It was pushing a 440 grain arrow at the same speed with the bow set at a 70 pound draw weight.
