Sighting in Carbons?
 

I recently switched from 2216 eastons to carbons.
although i still use the same point weight and fletchings.
I seem to be shooting almost 6-8 inches high??[:o]
You would think with the lighter carbons i'd be shooting low
due to the point weight.I use a drop away rest so nothings hitting,
(i did the talc powder test);)
Any help would be great, i'm kinda new to the carbon era.

Hmm, I am a bit confused as to why you would think that they would hit low. Wouldn't a faster arrow generally travel faster thus resulting in a higher point of impact?

However, did you actually go and retune the bow after making the switch. The differing diameter of the shafts, the difference in spine, etc... are all going to have the potential to change the point of impact.

Since your carbons are probably much lighter than your aluminums, your point of impact is going to be higher because of the flatter trajectory. If they are flying good (no porpouising, fishtailing, etc.) just adjust your sight and you should be fine.

Actualy I didn't re-tune,I did a paper test.
MO_bowhnter you got a good point,and everything is good there.
they shure show no signs of fishtail,ect.
They did seem to bump up my arrow speed!
I'll have to get out and shoot some more and adjust my sights acordingly.
