Arrow Wraps?
 

I am thinking about putting wraps on my arrows. I guess that you have to roll the wraps on your arrow? When you go to replace the fletching on the arrow do the fletchings come off the wrap, or do you have to remove the wrap as well? Also, how hard is it to roll the wraps onto the arrow. Do you have to trim them, soit don't overlap. What brand of arrow wraps is best

I use eze-crest. You do have to take off wraps and all when you take off your vains or feathers. I love mine!! Do not cut your wraps down just let them overlap, it will make no difference in your arrow flight at all. Good Luck!

Thanks, How hard is it to remove the wrap from the arrow? Do they have a sticky back, or do you have to glue them on?

They have an adhesive. They are super easy to put on and look great. Haven't had to refletch since I put them on so I don't know what to expect. But I'll deal with that whe I get there.

They are not hard to take off at all. The way I do it is I take a dull pocket knife and remove them. The only hard part is right where the fletching is. I would recomend that you cut the vains off first then slowly start stripping away the flecting in the same type motion you would peel a carrot. It will leave a sticky residue though so once you get all of the sticker off I use a product called Goo Gone. You can buy it at any Wal-Mart it works wonders. Any ways spray some on a rag and rub onto the shaft and Walla!! you are ready to re-wrap and fletch!! The first couple of times it might be a little tricky but once you get the hang of it you will love it!!! Let me know if you need any other help with the Cresting. Good Luck!! :)

try the spray on cresting they are extremely easy to do and from what i have seen cheaper too.

I take a hair dryer and put some heat on the seam (overlapped) and start peeling it of. I have to apply heat a few times as the wrap cools down quickly and tears but the heat loosens it up nicely.

As mentioned, a hair dryer and some heat works well for wrap removal. I like the Bohning Wraps because they offer Carbon or Alum sizes for more precise fit and less over wrap. Wraps are the way to go, they are SUPER easy to apply and actually allow for better vane adhesion. A great product.Remeber to apply them by rolling them on a mousepad.
