Has anyone tried this broadhead?

I went out and got a set today from Gander Mountain. Cheapest ($14.99) 3-blade broadhead I could find. Wanted to have some broadheads to shoot occasionally at my "Black Hole" target.

Obviously the broadhead will cause more wear on the target but how much more damage will the broadhead do? Don't really want to shred the target after only a week.

The broadhead will do significantly more damage to the block than your field points. Not had a lot of experience with that broadhead, but for the same price you could get Muzzys which are a proven BH.

from what ive heard on hear is the hte black hole does not hold up well especailly agaist BH's i have the cheap layerd target from gander mtn. and it started to sliver after on a hundred shots or so,,then i shot BH's at it and it did last long,,since then it as goten a couple cans of expanding foam and it is back to stopping field point once again...just my .10

Well the black hole won't hold up long to broadheads, and the eastman broadheads are really not that good at all. They are prone to blade loss, and not very sharp.

If it's the same eastmans wal mart carries they are MADE IN CHINA[:'(].

There are plenty of quality heads out there made right here in the good ole USA.

The blades don't seem sharp at all!!!! They will do for target practice....I won't shoot them that often anyway.
