drop away rest ?

Default drop away rest ?

was considering switchin to a drop away but seems most were designed to atach to the cable slide that is above the handle. i shoot a hoyt superstar heat and the cable guard are below the grip can you still atach to the cable slide? can you atach it directly to the cables? would i be better off trying a rest such as the trap door which requires noatachnents to cable any suggestions would be appreciated

ive got a pse silverhawk and it has the cable gaurd below the handle,,im using NAP's quiktune 2000 dropaway and i have had troubles with it pullng the forks up at times,,usally and long as things stay tight i have no troubles with it

I just took a trap door off my bow. I shot 1 hog and while fumbling around trying to cock it for a second shot, I lost a chance at a second pig. So I switched to a Cobra Diamondback. If you are interested in a trapdoor cheap PM me. You can serve a droaway in to a cable rather than using the slide.

Exactly. My Trophy Ridge Drop Zone is made to be served into the cable. I don't think it would matter too much if it were served above or below the cable guard so long as there was no possibility of contact. (That would be bad.)

Yep, just serve it into the downward moving cable just below the rest.

I use a Ultra-rest. It has a cross bar that secures the arrow onto the drop away. It also has a feature that allows you to lock the rest into the drop away position without having to draw your bow. I paid 95.00 for mine. A little pricey but worth every penny.
