Carbon arrow problems

I got a dozen Whitetail carbons from gander moutain. I sales rep told me that they were made by Carbon Expess and were very good quality. Out of the 12 I have 3 good ones left.1 has a torn fletching1 has a broken nock,5 have the inserts missing from shooting into starw bales(with field points mind you) and 2 cracked from unknow reasons from shooting. My questionis can I take a fletching off a cracked arrow and put it on another arrow to fix one.The nock and insert damaged arrows I am gonna take to my local shop to have them re-installed.

You can replace fletchings, but I would use a clean vane.

Yeah thats what I was wondering Cause I was told that if I was to replace one I would have to replace all my arrows.

That is not true. You can replace one or two fletching at a time. There is no need to strip all of the vanes off of the arrow.

You can do that, but it's best to refletch the arrow with all new vanes. You don't have to refletch all your arrows if you do one, unless you go back with vanes that are radically different than the vanes on the other arrows. In that case, then you'd better refletch all of them or you could wind up with arrows that won't group together.

Honestly, I've never been able to get an old vane off an arrow without completely destroying it - assuming the vane was properly glued down in the first place - so I don't think your idea will work. Vanes are cheap, as long as you stay away from the fancy stuff.

Authur, are you talking about putting on a different type of vane?

Spike, just get a new vane or two, and redo the good shafts.
Just match the direction and angle of offset or helical to your other arrows.

I prefer to be able to make easy repairs to my fletching, so I do my own, and it is 100% repeatable, so I only have to redo the bad fletches, not the whole arrow.

There is alot you can do to repair these arrows, but make sure in the long run its not gonna cost more to keep repairing them as it would be to just change brands. I never had any trouble with the carbon express 6075.
