RE: Magnus Stinger's

I am trying to decide between the 2 Blade and 4 Blade please HELP.

Sorry can't help ya, because it really doesn't make any diffference which one you use, Pick the one that you can shoot the most accurate because,. accurate shot placement is the key to bringing any animal down with a arrow.

All of the broadheads will work with the proper shot placement.

I still vote for 4 blades.....if your bleeder blades are going to hit a twig.....then so are your fletching (unless you have poor arrow flight)....they don't stick out beyond my fletching anyhow? However, I do shoot a shield cut feather, which is a little taller than most. If for some reason the arrow doesn't penetrate, then thebleederbladescut backwards as well.....so when the deer reaches aroundto pull it out it's causing moredamage. An exit hole is nice, which I don't think you'llever have a problem getting with a 4-blade. But you can look at it this way if your arrow is delivering70 lbs of kinetic energy and it doesn't penetrate or stays in the deer, then the deerabsorbed all that energy, whereas acomplete passthrough allowsthegroundbehindthe deer to absorb all the energy.....seems like a waste of energy to me......mightas well be cutting something with that extra whap!Knock em' off their feet.....I still believe you'll get an exit hole with either one. I just moveddown tolowerAL a few years ago, andI still haven't shot one that I haven't completelytaken off it's feet, they get up....butdon't go far.Of course, theirthe sizeof a german sheparddown here. I'm delivering 76 lbs of KE....pass through everytime....no shoulder shots yet though. I'm goingon a Utah elkhunt in two weekswith 100% confidence inmy Stinger 4-blade.

I do agree that 4 blades logically will cause more damage than 2 But will they fly exactly like the two blades will? I would rather know right where my arrow is going with 2 blades than somewhat where they are going with 4!

The Stingers should fly exactly the same (4 blade or 2 blade, regardless...) What I have done with my 4 blade Stingers, is align the blade vertical with the bow string - and it flies exactly straight just like my field tips! :D[8D]

I believe Cabela's finally has a batch of the 150 grain stingers out. Mine are in the mail according to them. Looking forward to trying them.
