Arrow Question

I've been shooting Easton Excel 400's out of my Bowtech Liberty for 2 years now, and recently picked up some Easton Axis 500's (I wanted the gpi to be the same) The Axis arrows shoot 2-3" lower than the Excel's with 100gr tips, should I switch to 75/85gr tips to make the spine stronger?

RE: Arrow Question

Did you adjust the rest and change your nocking point to compensate for the smaller diameter of the Axis shafts? If not, that's why your arrows are hitting lower. They're sitting lower in the rest and at a different angle than the Excels were.

RE: Arrow Question

Im going to adjust my rest tomorrow hopefully, but there was some erratic flight on top of them shooting low which myself and washington hunter think was from having too weak of a spine (500's vs my normal 400's)
