Help-I need a new bow!

Ok, my Browning lasted met 6 years, but, well you know. I think Im gettin a bow after this season, and I can't figure out which one to get. Maybe ya'll can help. My draw is 47@27. I would like a short bow(under 38") with a long brace(7-8.5").
Thanks

BB21,

The Merlin Quest 35 is the one I would recommend according to your specs.

Contact Pinwheel12 or one of his staff at [email protected]. They will point you in the right direction and won't try to take advantage of you. Your best bet is to go out and shoot as many bows as you can to find the one you like and then order it from Pinwheel. He won't steer you wrong. Good luck.

You really ought to look at the BowTech TomKat....9.125 brace height, 31 inches axle to axle and total wt of 3 lbs..very forgiving bow....

there are a lot of good bows out there right now! depending on what you want to spend they all have a good product but some of the lower cost units are first class anymore.

if you are on a budget check out the Mathews FX, Bowtech Stalker, and Parker Feather Mag II. all are great bows at a great price!

Just bought a BowTech Stalker. I have spent alot of time researching how to get the most bang for my buck. IMHO the Stalker with the accessories I put on it was the absolute best value for the $. Definetely something you should look at if $ is an issue.

However, if I had more money to spend I would have bought something like a Patriot or Legacy.

Like jsasker said. How much are you willing to spend?

RE: Help-I need a new bow!

I am looking to buy a new bow. About 5 years ago I had a McPherson drean Classic. I had it shooting about 310 fps @72lbs, 31". The bow was pretty easy for me to shoot, but was loud, & I was always having to adjust & tighten things on it. I am now looking for a accurate, quite, fast bow. I am looking @ the Bowtech Patriot & BK II. My brother just bought a Mathews Legacy, I like it alot, but I don't know about the speed it can produce. Is the brace height on the BK II going to be very diffecult to shoot with? I plan on being @ 70 lbs, 30" draw, carbon or ACC's, release aid.

Also where should I be in KE to shoot mech. heads?
Should I shoot mech. or fixed?
