tuning question

i just put on a trophy ridge drop zone rest on me pse beast shooting a 70#s with 30 inch easton 2216's i am getting a left paper tear that the guy told me was becouse my spine is to weak when i bought the arrows from the archery shop they said they were fine with my set up. so my question is could the left tear be becouse the guy that put on my rest was shooting it and not me and is paper tuning really that important they group fine at 40 yards and that is the farthest i will shoot at any game animal?

RE: tuning question

nobody can paper tune a bowexactly for you, there are to many variables to consider,1 being your form versus his;)

RE: tuning question

Try adjusting your rest out a little and try shooting it yourself ,as newman say's your form verses his form will vary and no one can paper toon to you .

Try going with a lighter tip.

RE: tuning question

Yes you are way underspined. For a 70lb draw you would need to cut your 2216's down to 27" to get a proper spine with a 100 grain point. For a 30" arrow at 70lb, you'd need either a 2512, 2514, or a 2317. That's with a 100 grain point...a 125 grain point changes it to 2514, 2613, 2317, and 2419.
