ok i think i figured out part of my string vibration problem my arrows are under spined i'm shooting at around 70 pounds and my arrows are rated for a max of 67 pounds so i was wondering about how many turns i need to get my bow down around five pounts so i can see if that makes a difference. One other question, will that ruin your bow shooting underspined arrows like that?

I'm not sure what your shooting for a bow ,but I think if you turn ot down 1 full turn you should be in the area you wish to be .If I'm not mistaken most bow's are about 2 com-plete turn's from the low end to the top end ,so don't turn anymore than 2 complete turn's ,or you'll be in the danger zone.

Bowtechs are 2.5 turns for a 10 lb weight range. Other bows are like 5 to 7 turns for 10 lbs and some bows have a larger draw weight range like 15 lbs or so.

If you have a manual for your bow it should say. If not go to a shop with a scale and measure it with each turn to be sure. Like Nubo said though, one turn regardless of the bow you have should get you where you need to be.

How does it shoot? You should be doing some sort of test like bare shaft testing or something to determin the correct spine to bow set up.

Yes shooting an extremely weak arrow out of a bow could possibly do damage to it. I wouldn't be too concerened about though. I don't think your arrow is that weak. More dangerous would be that arrow could break upon release. That could damage the bow and you! Again though, I don't think your arrows dagerously weak so I wouldn't fret over it.

What kind of bow, what draw weight and draw length, and what brand, size and length of arrow? And the tip weight you currently use.

I will run it for you and see how close it is on spine.

If you had a speed with an arrow weight it would help alot as well. Doesn't matter if it's these arrows or not, just a verified speed and the the total weight of the arrow used.
