anchor point problem

I am having a problem with my anchor point. Although I am comfortable with the way I shoot and I am consistent in my groups I believe I anchor too high. The reason I think I am too high is the location of my sight. It is at the top of it's elevation range and so is my 20 yd. pin. My anchor point has my index knuckle in the middle of my ear and my string loop about even with my mouth. I would say I'm about 2'' higher on my anchor or more than what I see most archers use. I want to be able to lower my sight and I am comfortable with holding a lower anchor. How do I do this? I think I can lower my sight and my peep and start anchoring lower and then tune it back in but I'm not sure. I know I could go to a pro shop but I really want to learn how to do things myself.
My bow is an Alpine Archery Impact X-treme dually 30'' draw 65#, trophy ridge nitro xtreme sight. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

RE: anchor point problem

When you lower your anchor, your sights will move up. I used to anchor in the middle of my neck, but I didn't have enough up movement on my sights, so I had to move my anchor up to get my sights down. I now anchor with my knuckle behind jaw.

RE: anchor point problem

Pull your bow with your eyes closed letting the string touch your nose and with your knuckle anchored behind your jaw bone. DK has a good form. Now open your eyes and look straight at the string. Set your peep there and then set your front site. You should be fine, unless you have a really long face.
