Stinger Broadheads
I got six brand new out of the box stinger broadheads. I put them on my arrows and one
wobbles, I shoot a speed of about 210 fps will the wobble make a difference in flight. It wobbles a little bit not real bad. |
RE: Stinger Broadheads
The wobble will make a differnce. I suggest you try that head on another shaft to be sure it's the broadhead and not your arrow. If it does wobble contact Magnus and they will replace the suspect head free of charge. Magnus goes to great lengths to make their heads trouble free and ready to go out of the box. Sometimes a dud will get by, just as with any product, but Magnus will fix the problem free of charge.

RE: Stinger Broadheads
I've heard good things about the Magnus Stinger. So much so, that I just ordered a 3 pack in100gr 4-blade. I am curious how they fly out of an XX75 compared to a perfectly zeroed in XX75 with a 125gr Thunderhead. I went light with the Stinger because of the huge cut on contact tip on it, and got the 100gr type.

RE: Stinger Broadheads
You may want to spin test the arrow (orhave it done). There could be other things wrong as well such as arrow contact.
I have a pack of the new 150 grain heads on back order. Curious to see how they compare to the Muzzy Phantoms (which were a bit too noisy for me, as well as a loose retention system). |
RE: Stinger Broadheads
get slick tricks they are the best hands down and fly just like field points

RE: Stinger Broadheads
Try another head on that arrow and see how it does. if it still wobbles it most likely the mating surface of your insert and shaft. if you cant fix the wobble, you can "self tune" these heads by loosening the screws and adjusting the blade on the furrel(sp)
