Peep Sight question
How much will the diameter of your peep sight effect accuracy?
Last year I had a really small peep. During the late hours of the day, I had a hard time seeing my pins. After the season I put a large diameter peep on. I just have started shooting again, but my groups are much worse than last year. At first, I attributed it taking a few months off, but now I still can't figure out the problem and changing the peep is the only adjustment I've made in since last year. Thoughts |
RE: Peep Sight question
This is one of the problems that I had. Amoungst other problems.
I took the peep off the string and now use a kisser button. My groups are tighter than ever. |
RE: Peep Sight question
I doubt the peep is your problem , it could be any number of things , string/cabel stretch may be one , especialy if you stored the bow in the garage or other hot spot .

RE: Peep Sight question
went from a kisser to a peep to a no peep. haven't really gotten use to the no peep, but I see why you either love it or hate it. I was most accurate with the peep though, but I didn't like the disadvantage it had in low light.

RE: Peep Sight question
I have not found a peep large enought that at low light you will have an easy time seeing your pins either learn to shoot without one and just use a kisser(I prefer the kisser and no peep takes a little practice to get consistant) or get the alternatives like the no peep or some have told me that at low light and they have to make a shot practice coming out of your peep if that makes sense. Good luck
