Quickspins on a crossbow bolt?
Does anybody know if this is possible?
As long as the channel has clearance, I should be ok right? My Dad's crossbow doesn't group great, and I was just thinking this might help him out. Any thoughts or concerns. |
RE: Quickspins on a crossbow bolt?
I see no reason why they won't work.
The biggest mistake crossbow shooters make is not cocking their crossbow consistently in the same place, and as close to centre as possible. Cocking your bow even 1/16" off centre will drastically change your crossbows point of impact. When you cock your crossbow mark the string so you have a point of reference every time. |
RE: Quickspins on a crossbow bolt?
i use both the 4" and 2.25" quickspins for my cross bow.
the 2.25 are for mechanical heads only. fantastic results from both. do you happen to know how BLAZER VANES might work? i learned a lot form this forum. http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/php...wforum.php?f=1 hope this helps |

RE: Quickspins on a crossbow bolt?
Quick spins may be the best cross bow bolt vane around. It's hard to put much helical on bolts as they rub the channel. With the quick spins you can put a small offset on them, and still get excellent control.

Great idea guys. I had not even considered trying any of the new vane styles out on my bolts! As the gentleman mentioned above, what about the Bohning Blazers? I would be tempted to buy a pack to try on some of my bolts as I am looking to give them a whirl on my arrows as well.
