RE: Eye candy
I dont know if I would call it eye candy. Eye candy to me is a hot girl between the ages of 20-30 holding a bow, or posing with a motorcycle.
I do think that stuff is cool as heck though. Any idea as to when it dates back to? I noticed some of the arrow shafts had writing on them, looked like numbers. That bow with the bowyers mark was really neat to. That has to be kinda freaky... Just for future reference, here is the eye candy I was referring to. ![]() heres another.... ![]() Not to mention this will help attract attention to this thread.:D Thanks for sharing those cool pics, have a good one---Matt |

RE: Eye candy
Thanks for spicing up my thread Mattiac!. The archery equipment is from the ship the Mary Rose that sank in 1545, so those items are 450 years old.... I was impressed by the horn nock inserts /silk wrapping on the arrows. I have been told there will be more pictures posted soon.

RE: Eye candy
Definitely some interesting stuff...the trad. archery gear that is...especially considering its age. ;) Though, I must admit the other "eye candy" was just as appealing.:)

RE: Eye candy
Wow that makes it even cooler....450 years old.
![]() ![]() Thats amazing.....some of it looks pretty pristine for its age. Makes my eye candy a little less appealing. Well no, not really. Less interesting perhaps, but not less appealing.![]() |
RE: Eye candy
Unfortunately I am old enough to be the father of both those young ladies[:o]..
