As we all know this is the best fixed pin sight out there at the present time.
But there is only one draw back to them and that is the pins are not very bright specially if you are like me and like the .019 pins.
I found this place on the web that has fiber optic at a good price.
http://www.fiberopticproducts.com/da...uorescentfiber
$1.95 for 3 feet so I got 3 feet of red, green and yellow in the .5mm .02" it fit perfectly into my .019 pins
I then got a clear pick up tube from a spray bottle ( best to make sure the bottle is empty before you take the tube ) or the little lady is going to be royally upset
I attached the clear tube to the extension bar of my Hogg-It with 2 small zip ties after I cut the tube in 1/2 so I can do my other Hogg-It
I then went about taking the old fiber s out of the sight and replacing them with the new fiber cut to 6".
The result is one very bright Hogg-It even when I shoot indoors
Total cost involved $7.35 to do both my sights
Here is a pic of the finished job.

Aussie,
It's nice isn't it? I did the same thing with both of my SH sights. I work for a bio-tech company, and they have tubing almost the exact dia. as the fiber optic from a machine called an HPLC. My friend hooked me up with enough to do both sights and have some extra.
Try some black zip ties to blend in better for hunting.
Enjoy

This looks like it would work pretty well, however I went and bought the light kit on their site and for $15 or so it works awesome and illuminates the sight level as well.

Rick.
I have the light as well but you can't use the light with the lens adaper/sun shade and lens.
My hunting sight has the light on it for shooting hogs at night

Thanks for sharing that, Ausie. I saw someone on AT had done the same thing, so I have had this in mind for a while. Is it hard to replace the fiber optic? I had problems breaking the standard replacable ones from spot-hogg. I picked up 9' of .019" off ebay for $6.99 shipped. Not quite as good a deal as you got, but it will work.

I just bought a Spot Hogg and contemplated getting the .019 pins when I bought it. But, I use my sight for hunting and 3D. Neither of which I find the larger .029 pins a problem. The bigger pins are brighter and tougher. Perfect for hunting.
That's a neat idea though. I saw that somewhere else. My only concern would be the loose fibers catching on something.

Kelly.
Yeah I seen your post over on AT.
I think all you will need is the 2 and 4 turret as they are slightly smaller than the other 3
I did have to buy 2 complete pins for one of my Hogg-It's they cost $10 each.
But thats what happens when your wife decides to clean up the archery room[:@]
