Installing a peep sight

I am installing a peep sight on my bow and was wondering if someone could give me a good descriptive way on how to tie off the peep sight. The instructions say to securely whip tie the strands of the string at the top and bottom of the peep with strong nylon string. how exactly do i do this? Thanks, Pictures would be great.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I take my bow to a local bow shop for things like this. It gives them a couple of bucks, and I'll usually see some gadget I can buy. I support supporting my local shop whenever possible.

I would rather learn how to do something myself so I can do it when needed, than pay someone to do it every time i need it done. I support learning new things;)

OK so I checked out those links, thanks by the way, but couldn't really understand them. Any one else have a good diagram or something to show me how to tie in the peep sight?

To tell you the truth, when I tie in a peep, I use the same knot that I would use to tie in a nock. If you need instructions for this simple knot, let me know. You could also do a search on how to tie in a nock. With this knot, I can slide the knot and peep without having to tie it in again.
