Explain This One

I bought a dozen xx75 the other day and shot them this afternoon. I stepped off 30 yards and shot all of them to see how they grouped. They all shot fairly well with the exception of one arrow. I then took four of the new arrows and placed broadheads on them to make sure that they shot close to the field points, but to my disbelief the muzzy broadheads shot much better than the field points. Even at 45 yards they found the 12 rings every single time. Have any of you ever experienced any thing like this?

I've had them group the same as field points , but never better than field points.
Maybe with those nice sharp broadheads on the end of your arrow , you were intimidated enough to be extra carefull and it improved your form<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle> I dont know.

Did the broadhead tipped arrows group better than the field tips or were they just impacting closer to your point of aim?

If they grouped better than the field points, I might venture to guess that the increased length of your arrow changed the spine of your shaft for the better. Sounds like you have a killer set up and are ready for the woods. Good luck!
