RE: reply button

Jeremy , it used to say reply to whomever made the post in the box that you clicked reply in, and it does'nt do that any longer, I notice that some on here can still reply in that manner, but I can't.

ORIGINAL: HNIJeremy

It is supposed to reply to the thread creator... what ends up happening if it we need to remove a post, all subsequent replies are then removed as well. This has caused a lot of problems in the past... you can select quote original so folks will know the details to your reply.

It is supposed to reply to the thread creator
Just checking out something, I highlighted and select quoted the last statement here

RE: reply button

OK, Used to, when you clicked reply in someone's post it would say that you are replying to that person in your own post, Now when I click reply in someones post it may say that you are replying to who ever started the thread or who ever has the top post on the page you are in, and ever once in awhile it may say you are replying to someone else on the page, I don't know what happened , I know it just don't work like it used too.

Look at my 2nd post on this page, It says that I'm replying to myself, and the next post from me has it replying to you, I clicked the reply button in your post both times, why does it say that I'm replying to myself in one and replying to you in the next one?

RE: reply button

I have been wondering this myself. When I hit reply, it posts to the original poster and not the person I intended to post to.
Sometimes I receive a reply but it appears that I am not the intended person, either.

I guess I will have to make a note of addressing the person by name, within my posts.

No Wesley its not that we are not signed in, if we was'nt signed in we could'nt reply to anyone, The problem is when we want to reply to someone and you click reply in their post it may say you are replying to someone else in your own post.

Oh, I don't ever click on that. I use PostReply at the bottom of the page.
