When you quote someone else's response you move over to the advanced response window. Inside the message you can click anywhere to place your cursor for typing. Now when you get the cursor inside you then select the font color from the top option bar and this will wrap your text in the font color coding. Then type away. Keep in mind when you type within a quote you will still have to type something outside of the entire quoted section or this website will say message too small. Preview your post before posting and when quoting, other then deleting irrelevant sections, never modify a quote. It can be very offensive, this happens by accident at times when typing and fat fingerings buttons inside a quoted section.
