AVG warning
Last week, some users of the AVG antivirus program have reported getting an alert when visiting VB forums. Tech is actively monitoring the situation, and encourages members to update their AVG virus definition to the latest version as soon as they can.
At this time it appears that the warning is due to a faulty virus definition set in the previous AVG release. AVG released a patch Friday that should relieve the warning. Please let people know to update AVG accordingly. If they continue to receive this warning, please let us know. NOTE: This warning has *only* appeared for users of the AVG program. Paul |
You do still have a suspicious iframe containing domdex IIRC which is found through other software than AVG. The warning may be a result of this invalid or suspicious iframe entry.
www.unmaskparasites.com is one of the site inspectors returning this error. <IFrame> hidden link - http://domdex.com/f?c=560&k=travel, hunting trips, hunting The vBulletin software is also outdated and a site inspector utility recommended updating Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool: http://wave.webaim.org/ http://wave.webaim.org/report#/http%...et.com%2Fforum is reporting numerous errors and alerts but nothing malicious BTW none of the site scanner links seem suspicious and are recommended by http://forum.sysinternals.com/free-o...opic22045.html which is endorsed by Microsoft and i believe to be owned by Microsoft. |
