When I use Microsoft XP this site loads super slow, but when I access it with a Linux OS it's fast as lightning. I think the anti-virus programs needed for Microsoft systems may be a large part of the problem. I realise a dual-boot hard-drive is not convenient for everybody, but it fixed the problem for me. My Microsoft boot uses Avast Antivirus - what antivirus programs are you guys using? Try to disable it (only temporary) & then see if this site loads quicker...

I agree richwrench. I think the anti-virus/pop-up blockers/security/etc, etc. has a lot to do with it. Mine is slow on just about every site/forum I go to because of this. And yes, it sucks.

I've hesitated to mention anything not wanting to jinx it BUT, the site seems to be operating more smoothly.
I don't know how or why or who did what when, all I can say is THANK YOU!

There's been significant tweaking going on.

Let us know if you see further changes!
