Updating profile and changing avatar,etc..

I have been trying to update my profile and change avatars and signature but everytime I try I get this message:

Your Login or Email has been chosen, please try again

What is going on here I cant figure it out?

Hmm... First try logging out and then logging back and see if that helps at all?

Tried it and still getting that message. Is there a way you can reset my id or anything?
