Can I see some fan mounts?
 

Hello all. I'd like to see some fan mount pics. The one I have already is mounted on a manufactured kit I bought at Wal Mart. I can't find them at my wal mart this year, so I am going to try my own. If any of you have the leather mounts or shotgun shell mounts or whatever else, I'd like to see some pics. Thanks

heres a link to mine....made the wood myself....beard is in the brass from the shell i shot them with......spurs i cut above and below on the leg...clean the bone...and lace on a piece of leather....then hang them off the mount....except this one....somehow they fell apart before i could get to them to finish them...had them in borax to dry out....im mad....they were my biggest spurs to date.....only 1 inch....but still my biggest...and now im minus a set of spurs!!!!! every bird i get i remove the beard and fan from the previous...put the fan in the garage....and hang the beard from leather with the spurs on each side of the shell from my rearview mirror...... here the link http://community.webshots.com/photo/...06260241GmlXoG

Man,
My wife would kill me if I brought home a 1/2 mount.

Have a nice fan that I am going to take to a taxidermist to have the beard (11 inches), spurs 1 1/3 inches and fan mounted. I think I can gey away with that. But a half a turkey walkin out the wall, boy would I pay.

the half mounts have gone up in price in my area. used to be $ 200, now the last one was $ 350.
