BEE HIVE

I found a bee hive this winter and was wondering what i can spray on it to preserve it for a mounting display to use with a mount I'll be doing later this season.

Clear laquer will give it some sturdiness but you may not like the sheen, it will give it a wet look. A clear satin spray will not be such a high sheen or make it as sturdy but it would work also.

Take Rubbing Alcohal Put On A Cloth And Gentaly Wipe The Nest Lets Sit Outside Few Hours To Get Rid Of Smell. I Did That With Some Looks Really Nice Not Shiny Or Anything Just Like You Found It.
Also As Wayne Said Hair Spray Works Great As well.

Wal-mart sells a spray in their craft department for preserving flowers. You might use that, then spray with laquer to harden it.
