Most taxidermists aren't doing any squirrel mounts anymore, but I still enjoy doing them. This is a customer Fox Squirrel.

I had a very hard time trying to find a taxidermist to do a woodcock, seems none up my way wanted to touch them claiming too thin skid, squirrels they still do here though! but I think most only want larger game, deer, bears and exotic's anymore! |
Yes, most taxidermists will not skin mount a Woodcock. Too fragile. They are usually sent to a freeze dry company for mounting.
