Question Beaver pelt question

I have been trying to tan a few different beaver pelts and every pelt ive had is unlike any animal ive done before, everything else ive done has a distinct difference between the fat/meat and the hide but on the beavers its all morphed into one layer it seems and im not sure how far down to flesh it. Theyre all roadkill from trains so i have a decent supply of them in case there are different things to try. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

Buy a draw knife and make up a log with legs to drape the hide over. Make sure the draw knife is sharp and carefully scrape the hide towards you.
