Sorry to hear you're going through a divorce. Those are no fun at all.
Major bummer on a divorce sale. My ex put ridiculously high values on my taxidermy, including ones that I had before I met her, as she was hoping to get half of their value in her settlement.
You would do well to advertise in publications that are used by interior decorators. Many people want mounts for offices and homes and they are not hunters but want to look like they are outdoors people.
Call Cabelas and Bass Pro. They won't buy them but you can "donate" them and take a tax deduction. That's what I did with some of the things my father had when he passed.
Actually Cabelas will buy if the mount is in the record books.
A few years back I offered to loan Cabelas one of my mounts while it was in storage. They were interested in it but only to buy, so they weren't obligated to anything. They said I could not loan it to them, they buy it or nothing. I kept it. |

Also for the OP, feel free to post more pictures. :D |
I'd be curious to see pictures of some of the mounts also.

unfortunately, someone else's mounts aren't worth a whole lot to the average person who didn't shoot the animal. You need to find the right market for them as Oldtimr said. Maybe Interior decorators, restaurants, Outdoor stores, etc.
Sorry to hear about the divorce, best of luck to you. |
