brown bear

i am doing a spring brown bear hunt and i understand the bears in the area go from 8-9 feet squared. question is how would that relate to a full body mount standing vertical? i know they are measuring from tip of nose to tail but the mount will be on hind legs with nose pointed out forward.

9ft is a very large brown bear. It will take up some room.

thanks timber i wouldn't have guessed that. the question is how much with no base

You're gonna need at least some kind of base on a 9 foot bear

again i understand the need for a base but the depth of that can very. i am trying to find out the actual standing height of a 8-9' bear so i can decide if it is possible to get in my house and preferable in my basement which has 7-9 ceilings

better have a big door way, hallway, and stairs leading to the basement.5-6 foot bear standing up on his hind legs is gonna be at least 8-9 foot tall.
