Hi from a moose antler carver

Dear friends,

I am an artist and my major and creative focus is bone carving - animal scenes: moose antler, deer antler, mammoth tusks, etc

It'd be an honour to post here the fotos of some of my carvings and get your opinions!!!

The details can be seen on my web-site to which you are heartily Welcome!!! - http://mooseantlercarvings-dimgor.narod2.ru/

So, the carving I did the other day.

A moose and 2 wolves chasing.

I used 2 techniques - relief carving and burning.

My favourite mooses and moose fighting...

This are the 3 Variants of my carving of the same Scene.

First was relief carving (toning):

Then - cut carving (and no toning just the antler is left natural in colour as it is):

And now - Variant 3:) - relief carving + burning:

For some time I was carving antler burr belt buckles, I like that really much, a burr can be a little picture, a sculptural composition, very catching and absorbing work for me...
