Just a suggestion:
Depending on the size of the wall you plan on mounting your finished mount: if you are displaying more than one game head, animal rug etc. I have a deer shoulder mount facing to the left as I face it. The head is mounted on the left section of the wall. In the center is a half head mount black bear rug. To the right of the bear rug is another deer shoulder mount facing straight out. As I enter the room from the right hand corner, the left deer mount is looking toward the door way, while the right mount is looking straight at me as I enter.
