BlackCreekTaxidermy 01-02-2011 04:09 PM

Thanks guys !!
That client has a 2300 sq. ft. trophy room and lives in Florida.
We actually hauled the Rhino & 14 other lifesize mounts from here in Ohio to his place in Florida & helped set everything up.

Pope94/IA 01-02-2011 05:51 PM

How much does that thing weigh? Not like the actual animals weight but the mount in general..

BlackCreekTaxidermy 01-02-2011 06:28 PM

I would say after we put the finished oak trim on that the whole piece weighed around 800 lbs.
And get this. We could not wheel it to his trophy room !! The door through the garage was too small. So we had to carry it around the house about 125 yards to the big french double doors in the trophy room !!!
But it was all worth it in the end.

Has to be 8 - 10 grand ??

I,m not a taxidermist but see know quality when I see it .
We have some good to very good taxidermists in the area but some of you guys are Show QUALITY by far ..
