Once you get it completely clean, wrap some plastic wrap around the lower antlers and secure it with some string or wire to keep the peroxide off of them. I bought 4 big bottles of the 3% at the drug store. I put the skull in my bathroom sink and poured the peroxide straight on it until it almost reached the bottom of the antlers. Then I used a soup ladle to keep pouring it over the parts not submerged. I did that until I got the color I wanted, then took it out and drained the sink. I unwrapped the antlers and rinsed them where they looked damp from any peroxide leakage. Next I put it on a shelf to dry out for a few weeks.

When me and my cousin do it we Skin it and get as much meat off of it as possible. Then we boil it in water, hydrogen peroxide and borax. Then it works great if you just use a power washer to get the rest of the meat/brains off of it. The hydrogen peroxide and borax really whiten up the skull.
