Thing is, I don't know if he does good work, as I have not got it back to see it.

So you took it to a taxidermist without even looking at his previous work!!! ....Hope you get lucky and he does good work. I'd give him a call if its been that long past his time quote. WCL

Is this guy stringing me along ? Maybe. He should have the cape back by now , I would think. Sometimes these guys don't know when to say enough and take on more work than they can do in a year. A years wait would be reasonable...... but going on two ???? Bummer. It is not right but is often the case.

Just got my mount back from Zacho's. It does look good . I did have to wait 20 months for it. I did have to call Zacho once a month for the past 8 months and then had to sit on the phone for an hour each time and listen to him complain about everything on the planet. The guy has serious mental issues!

I will never use him again! He promised he would have it done in 8-12 months. I heard another customer has been waiting 4 years for some bird mounts.

When I was in The Business we always had a year at least even if the hides took 4 months to get, taxidermy is not just deer, we did 500 fish mounts a month, among other animals.
