New Mount. Opinions?
This is the deer my brother shot during rifle season. The taxidermist is full time and charged 400 for the mount, before the extension. I was wondering what you guys thought. The only thing I have noticed was the nose, but my brother is completely happy with it. Thanks

RE: New Mount. Opinions?
Good looking mount and great buck. Only needs some minors things. Mounts have3 big focus points that catch your opinion right awaybesides the rack. The eyes, cleanlyness, and the ears. you have it all goin for ya except the ears...
+The eye shape and attitudeis very pleasing to the eye.
+The cape and hair is very clean and crisp looking
-However the biggest fault is the ears. It looks like he has floppy wings. Not sure if its the liners or lack there of liners or just the rotation but they look floppy like wings
+Nose is good color and mouth looks nice
Little things that are very unnoticable from the mount as a whole at first glance until you start looking for it....
-The hair on the nose pad looks yellow. Not sure if its the pic or if thats the way it is but those hairs should be white.
-The chest hair is not straight and the arm pit hair it sticking out of place
-The inside of the ears dont look painted. Should be a white to fleshy color not tan.
-The inside of the nose looks black. Should be a fleshy pink color.
And for the biggest "little thing". Your mount is not level on the wall. You level a standard shoulder form like that with the eyes not the chest. Your form is an offset shoulder so the legs and chest wont level as they shouldn't. Level it with the eyes, step back and keep adjusting till the eyes look level with yours. Another thing you could fix yourself is the nose pad hair just paint them white again. Again great buck and good mount. WCL
