Need Help

I am getting ready to have a go at mounting a deer and having trouble determining what sizeform to order. Everything I have read says to go with the smaller size form but is it possible to go to small?

Okay So would 1/2 a inch be to much or will the cape shrink to the form.

I'm not sure what you have been reading , but I would suggest using a form the SAME size as the deer it came off of. Wouldn't that make the most sense?

Thanks Timberland, I would take the measurements of the deer but had no chance to. It is a deer that my cousin gave me to mount.

If you don't have the carcass to measure, then measure the wet tanned cape.
