Removing plaque from mount form

What all would I need to do/watch out for if I was planning on removing my mount from it's plaque? I want to hang it on the wall without the plaque. There are only three screws holding it to the board but what should I add to the form so I can hang it on the wall? Is it easy to work with?

Just take out the 3 screws, remove the plaque, take the hanger from the back of the plaque and screw it on the back of your mount.

Sounds easy enough. I just didn't know if I needed to do anything special. Didn't want it to come crashing to the floor. Thanks.

Nothing special. The form has plywood on the back, so the hanger will screw securely to it.

Depending on yourform you may need to offset your hanger to one side or the other to hang straight on your wall. You can start in the middle and if it wants to turn you can adjust it accordingly. Doug

That's why I use only Level-Rite hangers.;)
