Duck Mounts?
 

I've got a duck that i'm wantin to get mounted. after gathering some info from local taxidermy's the cheapest i can find is $250... are prices this high everywhere?

I had a nice drake Goldeneye mounted about 4 years ago and it ran me about $260. But I also went to a very good taxidermy shop where the owner had won national competitions for the best waterfowl mounts. And he did a great job. Walking around in his shop he was working on all sorts of things from a giraffe to ring billed teal (I think thats what they were called) from south america and everthing in between. This is also in central Iowa so it was neat to see all of that stuff. But thats one duck is the only one I have ever had mounted so I could have been grifted but I don't care because he did a great job on it.

Well I can't say to much about it but I can get it done for $175 at the taxidermist I use but $250 is a fair price for one. would you have a flying mount?
