Shipping Whitetail Shoulder Mount

Can anyone give pointers on shipping a shoulder mount whitetail. what kind of box and packing and what is the best shipping method for cost?

I build a wooden frame for a box, using plywood on one side of the frame, and screwing the deer to the plywood from the outside.

Best way. Get a pallet. Screw it down. Build a wooden frame around it. Have done it a couple times. make sure there is space you can fill the box with paper or bubble wrap.

Thanks for the info. The taxidermist assures me that shipping it via UPS in a large heavy duty box with plenty of packing and bubble material is not goingto damage it. What do you think?
