This was my first year taking a deer and I thought that being my wife won't allow a full mount that I'd have to try mounting the horns on a plaque. It turned out alright...especially being that I have no clue what I'm really doing!! I'm going to get a small brass plate below the horns indicating the date and location of the shot.

i know how ya feel about the wife not letting do a full mount mine was like that an she didnt want me hanging the ones i had done already till i started packing my stuff then she was cool with it
