Photos of Taxidermy work

On some of the other sites I post on, I post photos of all kinds of mounts and the general public love it so here goes a new start. Also if anybody has any questions, I'm sure the group of taxidermist on this site would be happy to chime in with there professional opinion as well as mine.

Very nice mounts. I think you really capture the expressions of the animals well.

I'm sorry, but here is one thing I have to critic. In the bobcat chasing pheasant mount, I noticed the spring time, morel mushroom. ThenI noticed the fall leaves. ( still with color ) I'd remove the mushroom.

I know most people wouldn't notice the clash of seasons but some do.

I often see pictures of an antlered buck licking a fawn. The problem is, bucks don't have antlers when fawns are born.

Maybe its just me, but I'm a stickler for stuff like that.

Otherwise great looking mounts. Very realistic looking.

I usually don't make those kind of mistakes, but since the mount has been done the leaves have turned brown, so it's OK but thanks for the comments.

I have to comment again.

You do some really impressive work. All of your mounts have that life-like quality. You have a way of reallycapturing theexpression of the animal. Don't know how else to describe it, but guys who know good work, will know what I'm talking about.

Very, very nice work. Keep the pictures coming!

Lets see, did this work? If it did, youll see a pic of a wolf flushing a spruce grouse. If not, youll see how computer illiterate I am! I sure to be able to do one of these, at least!

Greg, his front left leg is bolted into the rock base. Sorry to answer your question Bill, just didn't know when you'd be back. I love the wolf. Good job capturing the attitude and the motion. Beautiful base, too. Alex, the shoulder mount doe is also beautiful. Nice job. Keep the pics coming guys. I know you have more than this.
