question for you pro's, I have some quills that have seperated on some feathers, is there any way to reattach the quills?

Looks good to me , you should have seen my first one 40 years ago, my mother thought it was a giant chicken that a truck ran over LOL

I bought one of thosebooks from one of the Taxidermy outlets, I think it was VanDykes. Was on How to do wild turkeys, it had some other birds in it also, Read it a couple times, got on a taxidermy website, not this one, and asked a few questions. then just decided to give it a try and see what happens, I had 3 birds in the freezer to practice on, and thought if I really screwed the 1st one up, I would have learned something, and apply it to the 2nd one. As it turns out, it came out pretty good, so the next one is going to be a standing pose. I did learn alot on the first one, & that will help on the second, so it should go even easier. Lots of patients!!!
