deer hide question???

Got a deer hide i want to get tanned. What should i do with it for a few days till i can get it to somone to tan? It has not been fleshed.

Whats the average price to have it done? Any ideas?

when i got my deer i just salted and froze it and it worked well. i just tan my own deer though so idk a price.

Put it in the freezer. Fold it don't cram it in a bag and call it good. The Taxidermist will thaw it out and flesh it. I charge $100 to tan deer hides down here in Georgia...
