picking the right mount
 
are there any suggestions which mount to pick for first deer 150 class 11 pt.

maybe a mount that kind of makes the deer look before u shot it

A64D Semi-Sneek Head Downit is a McKenzie form. They are awsome. I had a picture posted butI will post it again.

I selected the left turn head up look for mine..

DDs deer isnt a head up, its a standard head pose. Its a 6500 series from McKenzie, a semi sneak pose. The 64d that Michelle mentioned also has a counterpart, a 64u, which is a semi sneak, head up, as though its testing the wind, unlike the 64d that looks almost like a defensive posture.

You have many choices, uprights, semiuprights, semisneaks and sneaks. Thats head/neck high all the way to head/neck low. Most taxidermists you go to can help you with your choices. So can DD, he mounts every deer he kills, lol.

Doc, how do you post quotes like you and others do? I dont know how to lift them, or post them. I might have a sense of humor, but Im dumber then a stone with this stuff...
