how much for a tanned hide?
 

i havent got a deer yet, my dad told me that if i got a buck he would mount it for me and if i got a doe he would get the hide tanned into a rug so that either way i have a way to remember my first deer.
how much is the average tanned hide from a taxidermist?

Prices very,so just call a local taxidermist and ask?Then you will know for sure!

Me and my mom tanned the hide of my first deer ourselves it wasnt hard. You can go to your local library and find books on it and all you gotta do to tan it is find a local leather shop or a taxidermy store and buy the tanning solution wich is like $10-15 and do it yourself.
