Short bows

I know this has probably been beat to death, but I'm just really skeptical of buying a 30-32" bow when I will use it for both 3D and hunting.

I have a Mathews LX now, which is almost 36" ATA. I was brought up that a really short ATA bow will not be as accurate overall as a longer bow on range weather it be indoor or outdoor.

Anyone have any experience being successful shooting 3D or indoors at spots with a 32" bow?

Thanks for your time.
